The University of Buckingham

The University of Buckingham

The University of Buckinghamis the oldest private university in the United Kingdom – it was established in 1976 by a group of Oxford academics who believed a private higher education institution is better suited to equip students with  practice-based, real world knowledge and employability skills desired by the job market. The University of Buckingham has come at the top of the rankings in the first-ever Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) rankings. Buckingham has been awarded Gold and achieved a remarkable result with ‘double positive’ ratings in all six categories. According to the National Student Survey, Buckingham has been the top university in terms of student satisfaction and in The Times Good University Guide finished 1st for Teaching Quality and 2nd for Student-Staff ratio. Thames Education Group as a proud partner of The University of Buckingham maintains similar quality controls in terms of academic and student services.
